I was born in Abu Dhabi and grew up between there, San Francisco, and Tahoe. When I was twelve, my family moved to Tahoe, so my brother and I could pursue skiing seriously. Through skiing competitively 9 months of the year at Sugar Bowl Academy in Truckee, I have learned how to lead with grit, passion, and to strive for excellence in everything I do. Growing up across so many different environments, I developed a curiosity for why things work the way they do and an adaptability. I've carried that toolkit with me while skiing, recovering from injuries, building friendships from scratch, and balancing academics with training. Beyond skiing, I’m passionate about economics, finance, math, and understanding what motivates other people — all of which I explore on my podcast, View from the Summit.
